It comes a time when we really want to know what is happening in one's home country. I was ecstatic when I discovered that I could get the replay of the news of the main French TV station on the Internet. This fortuitous discovery happened by stopping at a Burger King in Cave Creek a few years ago and finding out that the manager had an accent.. French... and from the North of France , just like me.

There are 2 shows: le 13 heures ( the 1 PM news) et le 20 heures ( the 8 PM news).
In many French households it is a tradition to watch the news at those hours.
If you watch the 13 heures, you will get more short interviews of the man in the street as well unique aspects of French towns or culture.

This is the image that comes to me, here in the big Southwest. Beautiful roads and the sense of adventure.
Starting to speak another language is like that. An adventure.
So " Bonne route!" or " Have a good trip!"
